Adrian is one of few barristers also qualified at the German bar, where he concentrates on commercial cases involving a cross-border element. He appeared in several of the most recent cases in the English Court of Appeal on the Brussels Convention on jurisdiction and judgments and its successor, the Brussels-I Regulation. His English law practice has an emphasis on both property litigation and chancery work, including contested probate. Adrian has the only case to reach the Court of Appeal on enduring powers of attorney.
