Hugh Jory

Hugh was called to the Bar in 1992 after several years working as an investment analyst in the Research Department of a City merchant bank, which he joined on graduating from Cambridge University. The grounding and qualifications obtained during this period of his career underpin his interest in banking, commercial, company and insolvency law, which are the areas in which he specialises.   He is based in Leeds where he undertakes the majority of his work, although he is regularly instructed to appear in London and elsewhere.  Hugh is listed as a leading junior by Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500.
