Jennifer is fast developing a successful practice in all areas of Chambers’ business. She accepts instructions in all fields of commercial Chancery and is adept at drafting pleadings, advising and conducting advocacy. Jennifer regularly appears in the High Court before Judges, Masters and Registrars and also maintains a busy County Court practice.

Re Sykes & Sons Limited [2012] EWHC 883 Chancery Division

Insolvency – Winding up petitions - Application to restrain advertisement and obtain dismissal of a winding up petition where the remaining unpaid debt was disputed.

 

Revenue & Customs Commissioners v Garwood [2012] BPIR 575 Chancery Division (Bankruptcy Court)

Insolvency – Bankruptcy – Whether HMRC acted reasonably in refusing an offer of security for the petition debt.
