Jonathan Rodger




General Profile

Jonathan is based at Enterprise Chambers' Newcastle upon Tyne branch, although he is willing to travel throughout the UK in pursuit of his clients' needs and objectives and appears regularly in courts throughout the North, Midlands and London areas.

 

Having joined Enterprise Chambers in August 2000, Jonathan covers all areas of work undertaken by Chambers, his goal being to provide a flexible service and pragmatic advice and representation in corporate and commercial matters. He also has developed an unrelated expertise in taxi licensing disputes, both in the Administrative and Magistrates' Courts.

 

Recent highlights from Jonathan's practice include successfully defending a £1.5million commercial dispute in the TCC turning on the enforceability of a written contract, successfully obtaining a possession order in the High Court on behalf of a government department in a landlord and tenant/human rights dispute, and successfully prosecuting a judicial review of conditions imposed in a private hire vehicle operator's licence.
