When a property transfer order had been made under the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973 (Commencement) Order 1973 following a contested hearing or a compromise agreement, neither the receiving party had given nor the paying party received consideration, and the transfer was therefore susceptible to attack by a trustee in bankruptcy under the Insolvency Act 1986 s.339 as a transaction at an undervalue.
