Enterprise Chambers has today announced the arrival of commercial and insolvency barrister Madeleine Heal.

In a statement Senior Clerk, Michael Ireland, said: “It is a great pleasure to welcome Madeleine Heal to Enterprise Chambers. Madeleine’s practice is well suited to Chambers’ core areas of commercial and insolvency work, including her expertise in technology and media related cases.”  Chambers was recently shortlisted by The Legal 500 for Insolvency set of the year for the second year running.  Michael added, “Madeleine’s extensive international and offshore advocacy experience has been gained in markets in which other members are regularly instructed. She is a very welcome addition to Chambers.”

Called to the bar in 1996, Madeleine’s experience and practice covers a broad range of commercial and international litigation, cross-border insolvency and restructuring, privacy, media and cyber disputes, and intellectual property. Madeleine appears as counsel in the courts of the Cayman Islands and in the High Court of Australia and regularly assists in litigation in Hong Kong and Jersey.  She is known for building an encyclopaedic knowledge of her cases and for her pragmatic approach. Madeleine’s arrival strengthens Enterprise Chambers’ position and continued growth in the market for commercial barristers.
