Michael joined Chambers in October 2026. He accepts instructions in all of Chambers’ core practice areas, with a particular focus on property, company and insolvency disputes, in which he is regularly instructed and appears in the High Court and County Court. He also maintains a busy written practice, drafting statements of case and opinions.
Before his pupillage, Michael was a Judicial Assistant in the High Court (Chancery Division), assisting with high-profile commercial and civil fraud litigation such as HP & Autonomy v Mike Lynch [2022] EWHC 1178 (Ch). He was also a Judicial Assistant at the Court of Appeal, assigned to Lady Justice Asplin. There, he assisted with trusts, pensions, and company matters, including McGaughey v USS Ltd [2023] EWCA Civ 873.
Michael is a Visiting Lecturer and Examiner in Company Law and Trusts Law at University College London. In his spare time, Michael enjoys running, baking, and large-scale event and party planning.
